Ali's husband, Alejandro Monteverde wrote and directed Bella, which won the most prestigious award at the Toronto Film Festival in 2006. Bella was also honored at the White House and inducted into the Smithsonian Museum for it's significant contribution on American culture and society. The film stars Ali Landry, Eduardo Verastegui, Manny Perez, and Tammy Blanchard.
