Hey Everybody! There should be about 8 blog posts between my first and now, but I've been so busy with Belle Parish. This is an important blog b/c the Belle Parish website is about to be up and running! We can't wait for everyone to see the clothes, the concept, and all the hard work we've put in! My partner, Annie Kate and I had a photo shoot last week for the line and it was fantastic! We created a 'wonderland' set up in my backyard...our prop stylist, Katie Byron was amazing and the photographer, Tamar Levine captured the feeling of Belle Parish. We couldn't have done the shoot without Katie's expertise in prop styling and her creative sense put all the details in place and went beyond our expectations! Tamar was a trooper working with kids and moms! it was a long and very chaotic day, but she was able to portray through pictures what we envisioned while designing the line. It is so fulfilling to see it all come together and to know that the hard work paid off!
The next step is getting the line OUT! The clothes are in Vegas right now at the Kid's show and we're looking for reps to take on the line. I will be going to Vegas in two weeks to preview the line at the ABC Kid's expo and this will be an important week for Belle Parish...fingers crossed everybody!

Ali, I am a friend of Miss Claudette, and just like you did, both of my children spent their college years at Cherry Street. She told me all about the line and of course Alexandra’s beautiful pictures on Sat. at UL tailgating. I will become a first time grandmother of a baby girl in October and I think the line is adorable. I can’t wait to shop! I’ll be looking for it to become available.

i am a high school sophmore this year. I live in a small town in northwest Ohio and i have always counted on starting college early. That meaning this upcomming summer. I knwo this is possible through certain colleges but since im only 16, i don’t know how to get enrolled and where i can go and such. Any information on how i can start college this summer?

I cant even sleep because of wheezing, i have cold and throat infection too, i feel too difficult to breath, once in every month for atleast 5days i suffer this, doctor told me its the symptom of asthma so becareful, i am 21 now, even from my child hood days i had dust allergy but parents didnt take it as serious now i suffer a lot, when i have allergy i feel something hard in my lungs feeling like heavy weight i cant breath properly after taking antibotics it will be fine for some days again it will start. whats the best way to avoid asthma..
